AVAILABLE TENRECS

Tenrecs are seasonal breeders, with litters born in the spring/summer. As such, the waiting period may be several months depending on the time of year. Babies may be reserved by completing the tenrec reservation form and sending in the deposit. A tenrec will NOT be held for you without a deposit. Once babies are listed, they are selected in the order that the deposits were received.

Please note: A tenrec's sex cannot be determined with complete accuracy until they reach adulthood. We do our best to guess, but cannot make any guarantees about the sex of sub-adult tenrecs. If you are reserving a baby and would like to know the sex with 100% certainty, we can perform a DNA test on your chosen tenrec at additional cost.
